Concussions are currently epidemic amongst athletes at any performance level, particularly in the arena of football, soccer, hockey and lacrosse. Many people who suffer from a concussion find themselves with lingering symptoms that can last for weeks to years, a condition now termed "post-concussion syndrome." Other than bed rest, no screen time and adequate fluid intake, there is not much the medical field can do to ease the pain and accelerate the healing process for such individuals.
